Responsible for managing CM S&OP process, long term capacity planning, and communicating customer demand.

Major Roles and
Responsibilities:
Manage S&OP process for Contract Manufacturing Management organization
Represent manufacturing in demand consensus meeting to balance statistical forecast with Commercial inputs.
Match supply and demand to ensure appropriate capacity levels at contract manufacturers.
Develop plan with CMs to align capacity with demand.
Develop operations forecast for contract manufacturing, using ERP-based processes, and apply continuous improvement to planning and other supply chain processes
Work with planner/buyers to analyze as needed to determine the root cause of any variance to standard for key process indicators.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions are developed and implemented as required.
Drive or participate in systems and process improvement designed to improve agility and reduce costs while maintaining excellent delivery performance.
Develop inventory and capacity strategies to balance cost, quality and delivery
Make replenishment decisions that align with both OCS generally accepted inventory strategies and expected levels of customer service
Evaluate inventory stocking plans relative to actual inventory/service levels and work with tactical planner/buyers to adjust inventory stocking plans as needed
Utilize standardized CMM production planning processes across product lines.
Participate in developing those processes where gaps exist
Identify deficiencies in existing processes and propose improvements
Analyze and manage methods and processes to effectively communicate with contract manufacturers and achieve business goals
Monitor CM production and provide capacity analysis of CM for QBR
Proactively communicate projected capacity and/or inventory constraints to Operations, Finance, and Engineering leadership
Analyze and work with contract manufacturers to implement solutions or strategies to address scalability and adaptability to change, including market and business needs
Advise product team on critical considerations related to product life-cycle
Assist in the development of supply chain strategy and roadmap
Develop and maintain contract manufacturing capacity models that feed into regional models in other parts of the business
Develop SC Product Plans as necessary; support product team
Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Bachelors Degree (Technical, Business or Supply Chain).
Minimum 4 years experience in Supply Chain operations
Has led cross-functional teams to deliver results; demonstrated collaboration skills
Project management experience
APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)
Demonstrated track record of driving and implementing improvement to key performance metrics.
