Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule and confirm appointments, both in person and over the phone - Collect and update patient information in the dental office system(Open Dental) - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy - Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with billing and financial transactions - Present and explain treatment plans to pt and answer any questions regarding options - explain different financial options
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an administrative role, preferably in a dental office setting - Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes - Proficiency in using dental office management software (Open Dental) Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information Bilingual preferred Experience with Open Dental Note:
